About Me
I was raised in the woods and mountains with a dash of adventure, a sprinkling of sequins, and a whole lot of bluegrass. Alongside camping trips, I trained in classical ballet for 17 years—at Vermont Ballet Theater and School, as well as Bolshoi Ballet Academy (BBASI) and Alonzo King Lines Ballet. While dancing at BBASI, I tripped into love with the gritty and racing beauty of New York City, where I have since earned my BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch.
Ever since I was 3 and performing the Lorax’s speech on stumps or choreographing a musical of The BFG in middle school, I have known I wanted to act and create. I am ravenously inspired by projects that expose and celebrate the wildly deep and beautiful connections that string together our human experience—whether it’s astronomy and enlightenment philosophy, or poetry, religion, and a certain type of fern. Whenever I can, you will find me playing the cello and guitar, singing, reading, and if there’s a forest to be found, mountain biking. I can—and have— worn heels on all terrains. I am the girl-next door with a secret mission and Emma Stone wrapped in couture dalmatian. My favorite smell is basil. :)
